Religious and secular institutes that work with the Custody

There are many communities and orders that perform activities in collaboration with the Custody of the Holy Land.

With the common desire of living in the places of the memory, alongside their Franciscan brothers, the various religious and secular institutes are inspired by the Christian principle of a simple life and helping others. They help the Custody and the Christian community in the Holy Land in the first place through caring for the sanctuaries and the connected activities, which often include liturgical animation, prayer and services for pilgrims.
At the same time, some of them are fully immersed in the social sphere through running schools and homes for children and the elderly. Others work on evangelization through the media, others help families and people in difficulty.

These people perform many precious services to help the Holy Land. Below you can find all the religious and secular institutes with a description of their spirituality and what they do.
