The Custos will take part in the meeting - pilgrimage in Assisi on September 24th, organized by the young people of Catholic Action.
The young members of Catholic Action will go to Assisi as pilgrims to witness their closeness to Pope Benedict and to ensure him of their prayers, along with their generous and daily commitment for peace .
Participants in the moment of reflection and artistic and cultural discussion on subjects related to peace, dialogue and religious freedom will include His Eminence Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran, President of the Pontifical Council for Inter-Religious Dialogue, Father Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Custos of the Holy Land and Prof. Franco Miano, National Chairman of the Italian Catholic Action.
The meeting will be at 3.00 p.m., in the Auditorium of La Cittadella of Assisi.
