Notice to Catholic pilgrims wishing to attend the Easter Vigil celebration in the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre
The pilgrims who wish to attend the celebration of the Easter Vigil – on Saturday 23rd April at 6.30 a.m. – should meet at the New Gate –between 5.30 a.m. and 6.00 a.m.- to be accompanied to the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre.
After 6.00 a.m., it will not be possible to enter the Holy Sepulchre for reasons of security due to the orthodox celebration of the Holy Fire.
At the end of the celebration of the Vigil, at around 10.00 a.m., all the Catholic pilgrims will be accompanied out of the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre.
